Support & FAQ
Questions, feedback, or trouble with the app? Email us at support.rostersocial@gmail.com — we usually reply within a day.
What is Roster?
Roster is a dating journal with a small social circle built in. Keep track of the people you're dating — your roster — log dates, and share updates with close friends who get it.
Is my roster public?
No. Your roster and posts are only visible to friends you've accepted. Anyone else who finds your profile sees just your username and photo. You can also set a post to “Only Me” if you'd rather keep it to yourself.
What do the stages mean?
Every member of your roster has a stage — from matched and talking, to officially on your roster, to benched or cut. Update the stage as things evolve; your friends can follow along in the feed.
How do I sign in?
With your email or with Sign in with Apple. If you use email, we send you a one-time code — there's no password to remember.
I didn't get my sign-in code
Check your spam or junk folder first — the code can land there. If it still hasn't arrived after a couple of minutes, go back and request a new one. Still stuck? Email us and we'll get you in.
How do I add friends?
Share your invite link from the Friends tab, or search for your friend's username and send a request. Once they accept, you'll see each other's posts and rosters.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
Roster sends a notification when friends react, comment, or add to their roster. You can turn them off anytime in your device Settings under Notifications → Roster.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to your profile settings, and choose delete account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. If you have any trouble, email us and we'll take care of it.
